Job Details: Established, rapidly growing Sleep Diagnostics company seeks Registered Techs to join our team. Travel to various partner hospital sites within selected area.
The Polysomnography Technologist selects evaluation and assessment methods and ensures that the health history is complete; applies electrodes and sensors and performs appropriate physiologic calibrations; follows procedural protocols to ensure collection of appropriate data and follows “lights out” procedure to establish and document baseline values; performs polysomnographic data acquisition and document routine observations to facilitate scoring and interpretation of polysomnographic results; implements appropriate interventions and performs routine positive airway pressure (PAP); provides appropriate patient education; identifies significant changes or high risk situations; prepares and calibrates equipment and disassembles, cleans and assembles Sleep Disorders Center equipment, and processes patient charges. Patients cared for include those in the following age groups: adolescents, adults and geriatric.
• Registered Polysomnography Sleep Technician.
• Previous experience.
