Job Details: Growing Sleep Diagnostics company seeks Registered Tech in Eastern/Central North Dakota. The Polysomnography Technologist selects evaluation and assessment methods and ensures that the health history is complete; applies electrodes and sensors and performs appropriate physiologic calibrations; follows procedural protocols to ensure collection of appropriate data and follows “lights out” procedure to establish and document baseline values; performs polysomnographic data acquisition and document routine observations to facilitate scoring and interpretation of polysomnographic results; implements appropriate interventions and performs routine positive airway pressure (PAP); provides appropriate patient education; identifies significant changes or high risk situations; prepares and calibrates equipment and disassembles, cleans and assembles Sleep Disorders Center equipment, and processes patient charges. Patients cared for include those in the following age groups: adolescents, adults and geriatric. Travel to various hospital sites within Eastern/Central North Dakota is required.
Required:
• RPSGT Licensed by the North Dakota Board of Respiratory Care.
• Registered Polysomnography Sleep Technician.
Preferred:
• Previous experience.
